World Water Day 2010 :: Viewers’ Submission

World Water Day,  is marked and observed all over the world to spread awareness and to protect the constantly vanishing life also named as Water. Along with numerous campaigns, Blogs and reportage all over the world, PhotoPeer also published one article on World Water Day. Our intention was to spread the awareness about preserving fresh water for our future generations. It is estimated that if we do not take necessary steps, By the year 2050, a third of the world’s population will be devoid of fresh drinkable water.

And we are happy and thankful to those sensitive peoples who have viewed our publication and have participated whole-heartedly. We are overwhelmed for your comments, suggestions and images that we have received. This proves that only by holding our hands together and generating a mass awareness we can still make a better world and all is not lost yet.

So to infuse new life to this cause and make it more powerful, we at PhotoPeer have decided to publish all of your images. These images speak a lot about the necessity of water in our daily life and how water has nurtured and helped life to blossom only on this planet and consequently the need to preserve it. We hope that all of these images will spread the words with greater impact. It is high time to act. It is time to step out and stand for these global issues that threatens the extinction of human civilization and the destruction of our own, beloved mother Earth. We all have to be more careful about using every natural resources that nature has offered to us. We must educate our children so that they learn to treasure these invaluable assets. And we must make every possible effort to spread the word to as many peoples as we can.

We, at PhotoPeer, have started our journey and we would always like to see you by our side on our course and we would look forward for your support in all of our ups and downs.
